Default Question

If reactive hexing sucks, what does that mean Mesmers?

I know ultimately reactive hexes are effective for PvE, even if they don't have the damage potential as proactive hexes. But it is still a good point, Mesmers seem to focus on punishing enemies for attacking when they should be about prevention.

I have been really trying to understand how to get mesmers to be more effective in PvE. Maybe an update soon will change things...

necros have the same line of hex's that punish enemies for attacking, and it is some of the best necro pve builds out there SS for example. so i dont think we need to go a full different route with their hexes, i just think they should be stronger and more sustainable so that a mesmer has a chance of getting a team comparable to the necro class.
